We invite all people to visit our church, regardless of their personal beliefs, histories, lifestyles, or other religious commitments. Those who join Grace Baptist Church as members, however, commit themselves to a robust confession of faith.
Standing firmly in the ancient Christian tradition, we embrace the early creeds as accurate statements of biblical doctrine. These are:
The Apostle's Creed
The Nicene Creed
The Chalcedonian Creed
The Athanasian Creed
Additionally, we embrace the five great affirmations of the 16th Century Protestant Reformation:
Sola Scriptura ("Scripture Alone"): The Bible is the only infallible authority for faith and practice.
Sola Gratia ("Grace Alone"): We can do nothing to earn God's favor. Justification is the free gift of God through Christ.
Sola Fide ("Faith Alone"): The gift of justification is received only by personal faith in God, through Christ.
Solus Christus ("Christ Alone"): All that was necessary to secure our salvation was accomplished by Christ.
Soli Deo Gloria ("To God Alone Be The Glory"): All of life is to be lived for the glory of God in Christ.
Finally, we embrace a revised New Hampshire Baptist Confession, which was first crafted in 1833 and offers a concise summary of the distinctive doctrines historically believed by Baptists.
