We invite all people to visit our church, regardless of their personal beliefs, histories, lifestyles, or other religious commitments. Those who join Grace Baptist Church as members, however, commit themselves to a robust confession of faith.
Together with all Christians, we embrace the ancient creeds as accurate statements of biblical doctrine. These are:
The Apostle's Creed
The Nicene Creed
The Chalcedonian Creed
The Athanasian Creed
Additionally, we embrace the five great affirmations of the Protestant Reformation:
Sola Scriptura ("Scripture Alone"): The Bible is the only infallible authority for faith and practice.
Sola Gratia ("Grace Alone"): We can do nothing to earn God's favor. New life in Christ is the free gift of God.
Sola Fide ("Faith Alone"): Salvation is only possible through personal faith in Jesus Christ.
Solus Christus ("Christ Alone"): All that was necessary to secure our salvation was accomplished by Jesus Christ.
Soli Deo Gloria ("To God Alone Be The Glory"): All of life is to be lived for the glory of God in Christ.
Finally, we embraced a revised New Hampshire Baptist Confession, which was first crafted in 1833 and offers a concise summary of the distinctive doctrines historically believed by Baptists.
