On the 3rd Wednesday of each month, from 10:00am to noon, our church provides boxes brimming with fresh food to anyone who comes, no strings attached. Households with four people or fewer receive one box. Households with five people or more receive two boxes. No registration required. No limit to the number of months you may come.
The process is simple:
(1) Drive to the back of the church parking lot and stop. A volunteer will take your information.
(2) Pull forward to the pallets of food and stop. A second volunteer will load the box(es) into your car.
(3) Drive home and enjoy!
The food is supplied to us by the South Michigan Food Bank, and the food is handled in accordance with USDA guidelines. A typical box of food will contain fresh meat, produce, and dairy items.
