God blesses churches with leaders, but these leaders cannot and should not carry out the mission of the church on their own. Instead, pastors are to equip the people for the work of the ministry (Ephesians 4:12). As all the members are serving one another in keeping with the way God uniquely made them (1 Corinthians 12), God receives the glory (1 Peter4).
