Brandon James Crawford became the lead pastor of Grace Baptist Church in 2010. He holds a Master of Divinity from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary (Allen Park, MI), a Master of Theology from Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary (Grand Rapids, MI), and is currently working on a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Puritan Seminary.
As pastor, Brandon is responsible for weekly preaching and teaching, administering the ordinances of baptism & communion, providing counsel to individuals and families, visiting the sick, overseeing the various ministries of Grace Baptist Church, representing Christ and our church in the community, and ensuring that our church is successfully implementing its mission and vision.
In addition to his local church responsibilities, Pastor Brandon also holds several leadership positions around the state. He is also a prolific writer who regularly contributes to books, academic journals, and popular magazines--mostly related to American religious history. He is the Assistant Director of the Jonathan Edwards Center--Midwest and also a chaplain for Oaklawn Hospice.
He and his wife Melanie were married in 2006, and they have two children.
