Mission
The Michigan Expositors Summit exists to advance the art and impact of expository preaching across the Great Lakes region.
Vison
To be at the center of a vibrant new movement of expository preachers who are impacting communities across the region through their faithful communication of God's Word.
Program
The centerpiece of our program is an annual, half-day expository preaching seminar. We share a breakfast together, participate in three workshops led by a seasoned expositor, and then have lunch. The full cost of this event is carried by Grace Baptist Church so it can be offered to our participants free of charge.

Michael Wittmer (PhD, Calvin Theological Seminary) is Senior Pastor of Cedar Springs Baptist Church near Grand Rapids and a professor of systematic and historical theology at Cornerstone Theological Seminary. He is a dedicated pastor, scholar, and blogger who writes accessible books on theology and Christian worldview for the church. A member of the Evangelical Theological Society, Dr. Wittmer regularly presents at the association’s regional and national conferences. From 2016 to 2018, he also served as a member of the regional discussion fellowship for the Creation Project, an initiative hosted by the Henry Center of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. |
